Mauricio Macri ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The president of Argentina is Mauricio Macri. He has been in office since December 10,2015. Before becoming president he was chief of government of Argentina from 2007 to 2015.
Before this Mauricio was president of Boca Juniors (Soccer Club) in 1995. He entered politics in 2003. He was born on February 8,1959. During his younger life he was kidnapped in 1991 for 12 days. He was kept in a small room with a hole in the wall to receive food and a chemical toilet. He was released when his family payed multimillion dollars, this is what led him to politics.

Lionel Messi ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Lionel Messi is a famous Argentina soccer player. He was born on June 24,1987. He plays as forward for the Spanish club FC Barcelona and the Argentina national team. He is usually considered the best player in the world. They say this because of a problem that affected his growth. He has helped a charity called the United nations Children's Fun(UNICEF) which Barcelona is also associated with.

Pope Francis ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Pope francis is the 266th pope and the current one. He is the 1st pope from the Americans. He was announced as the pope on March 2013. He chose Francis as his regal name in honor Saint Francis of Assisi. Throughout his public life he has been noticed for his humility, concern for the poor, e.t.c. Before he was the pope his name was Jorge Mario Bergoglio. He was the oldest of 5 children.

Eva Peron & Juan Peron ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Juan Peron were the 1st president of Argentina. He served from June 1946 to September 1955. He was married to Eva Peron who was the 1st lady of Argentina. Eva Peron later died in 1952. Juan Peron later became a dictator. After that he was unable to control many things. He died on July 1, 1974.
